$2500 all in for a full clutch job (clutch, bearings, fly wheel, install), slave cylinder also being replaced and the CMC is fine.
Should be back on the road Saturday

Was the flywheel damaged?

bad enough to the point it needs to be replaced

Damn. You need a 7.3 lb racing flywheel with a stage 7 clutch now.

I’d say a quadruple puck with a stage 12 would do it.

That is insane for a clutch job

Sinter metal, carbon fiber, titanium hub at least.

Was browsing the 8th gen Civic forum and saw that the 2000-3000 range is the norm for a dealership clutch job. I’d take it to an independent shop...but I still have a sour taste from yesterday’s fuck up

Long live the Civic SI.

Whoa. Wonder why they charge so much. Must be a total pain in the butt

That’s more than it cost for my GTO. That’s with labor, a C7 Vette flywheel, a Monster twin disc, slave cylinder, throw out bearing, and lines.
